Hi! I’m Tom, DevOps Engineer at a Private Cloud Service Provider in Hanover, Germany with a focus on cloud-native technologies as container runtimes, orchestrators, automation and config management.
For a big portion of my professional career I stuck to Microsoft Technology Stack; .NET (Core) and Dynamics AX where the things that I started with and led me to more cloud related Software Development work over the last years.
While looking outside my MS Box, figuring many cloud-native technologies being linux/unix-based (to say the least: the overlap in communities seems to be huge) I noticed I became more and more unsatisfied with Windows (let me just say Major updates to Windows 10 in 2019+2020 did it for me), ultimately starting to use Linux as my main Desktop system. Maybe at one point I’ll even publish some guides here, lets see. 🙂
